The origin of the Jarman line is at this time unknown. We do know that it ties into many lines that are very involved in the early history of the central area of Virginia. You will find many of these names including the Jarman name in the developement of the area. Many of the visible lines are Ballard, Brown, Cave, Dabney, Maupin, Rothwell and Via
